X-ray and diagnostics
The first step
towards a scientific and high quality related treatment is always
carful diagnostics. In orthodontics we make x-ray of the head (cephalometric
plates) and of all teeth (orthopantomograms) further photographs
of the head.
After this we take impressions from the denture
for plaster casts of all teeth and the jaws.
From this and all other findings from the patient we write the treatment plan. This paper is the basis for the orthodontic treatment and for getting refunded the treatment costs by the insurance.
